Tragically the destructive disease of cancer is becoming epidemic in our world… especially throughout Israel! Few of us have been spared the sorrow of watching a loved one fight for their life. To some extent, the medical community can identify the causes of this dreaded disease, yet remain at a loss to guarantee the victim will overcome its devastating effects. Breakthroughs are being made within research communities, yet far too slowly to make much difference in combating this sobering epidemic.
ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE has proven to significantly help in extending life…encouraging us at Hands of Mercy to be involved first-hand with leading Israeli specialists to aid Israeli soldiers and civilians who are battling for their lives. Our Hospital-Cheer Program allows us to meet hundreds of children and adults who suffer as a result of this disease. This provides special encouragement and hope, as we continue to pursue ways of helping them through alternative forms of therapy.
This developing program gives patients a few days of respite within a safe and healing environment which offers a positive combination of prayer, friendship and alternative medicine to overcome this disease.
Israeli Army representatives continue to call for help, referring us to soldiers who have cancer and requesting our involvement in their lives. Dr Shoham, one of Israel’s leading specialists in alternative medicine, is working with us to help cure these victims.
