HANDS OF MERCY teams remain personally connected with high-need families for years…offering comfort, courage and renewed faith through these times of recovery and restoration
Visiting the victims in their homes is an important and significant part of comfort and encouragement during these difficult times. Sharing coffee, a listening ear, offering a simple gift of sweets surprisingly brings much happiness back into their lives. Some of these relationships which have been made within the homes have forged deep and lasting friendships. This is the heart of HANDS OF MERCY.
Consistent encouragement is crucial through the painfully slow process of recovery. Days of depression often require the need for much compassion by family and volunteers to help provide hope and strength in the face of difficulties experienced daily. These simple acts of kindness are always highly appreciated.
