Since the year 2000, Palestinians have defiantly declared war upon Israeli civilians through violent, aggressive attacks of terror. Since then riding buses, sitting in cafés, and running errands are no longer casual, mundane activities. Every trip from home, every kiss for a child on a school bus, every parting between spouses and friends, has become tinged with fear that this may be the last trip, the last kiss, the last parting.
Thank G-D, the frequency of violent incidents have, as of late, diminished significantly, but this obviously is only a ploy for our enemies to gain leverage and fulfill the radical Islamic purpose of taking over Israel. Every Israeli lives in a state of diligent awareness; conscious that at any moment the intifada may once again regain its murderous intensity.
