Elderly Widow Waiting for Sponsors

Eduardo and Juana S. immigrated to Israel in 1989 and a few years later they moved to S'derot. After losing his job in 2003, Eduardo tried to become self-employed buying and selling toys at the S'derot market, but the decaying economy of a city under constant attacks caused him to eventually lose all of the family's modest savings and get into debt.

The family became depressed and worried because of the financial situation, in addition to their concern for Victoria, their disabled adult daughter suffering from schizophrenia and mild learning difficulty.

Tragically, Eduardo had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia and he sadly passed away five years ago, leaving his widow without financial, emotional and practical support to take care of their disabled daughter.

Please prayerfully consider to show your love and care for Israel by adopting this precious family. If you and/or your congregation would like to help the Shusterman family find The L-RD’s help through this difficult time, check out our "Adopt a Family" page.
