‘’THE MIRACLE STORY OF JANA’’

As our community suffers trauma resulting from renewed rockets and terrorist tunnels, we would like to share an exciting Update Story.

Jana was a single mom whose tragic life was dynamically changed with the recent miracle-birth of her son Leroy.

Born into a poor Druze family, Jana fled nearly eight years ago from her Northern Golan Heights village of Migdal Shams, which repeatedly suffers under the tragic war of Iran, Hezbollah, Syria and ISIS. After eventually finding her way to Sde’rot, she became involved in the destructive world of drugs, as well as the influence of many bad friends, in her struggle to find new life and happiness as an orphaned girl.

‘’BIRTH OF LEROY’’

Following life-threatening complications of her baby's repeated heart failure while in the womb, our staff was honored to offer much love and healing prayers as we witnessed the miracle of Leroy who since has brought much joy and faith into his mom's damaged life. Miriam, who now serves on our Mercy staff became personally involved in this special miracle!

Now, nearly five months after the birth, we are honored to send you a few up-to-date pictures of this ongoing miracle! Despite great hunger, financial struggles and pain as a result of her husband’s long-term prison sentence, Jana remains deeply encouraged due to these many expressions of love and support.
